Gate Valve

Does anyone know where I can pick up a 1-1/4 inch Gate Valve local. I hate to order something that might be around the corner.
BTW Forget about Lowes and ace hardware

ace is the only place I found them but they arent the type that fully open like this one gate valve

I ended up ordering it here .... it was quick since they were out of FL

Ace hardware has them but they are FIPT x FIPT I was looking for slip x slip

I was at Lowes on Dykes and Sheridan and think I saw gate valves there, but not sure if they are slip to slip.

Whats the difference between the gate and ball valve other then one spins down and the other turns? I mean whats the advantage?

With the gate valve you can fine tune your water flow much easier then with a ball valve

well took a trip to Lowes.....No Gate Valves only ball valve.....But good old ace hardware had 1.25 gate valve 13 bucks

I was trying to do the Gate Valve Mode on my G2.....But looks like Im unable to get the valve that far down on the riser tube limited space......
back to the drawing board....may have to ask some that has did this Mod before
