Hi everyone! I eould like to start off by saying hello! I am new here, as well as my brother NUNU (he should be registering soon). A little backround..we are brothers, 16, and have a RedSeaMAX250 saltwater mixed reef! We are in love with our tank and work on it any chance we get! We have had build threads on different forums, but have decided to come here. Now...more on the tank:)

We used to have a 29 gallon sw, but transfered to the 66 (RSM) a couple weeks ago. So far-so good! The stock is currently
1 B&W Clown
1 Occ. Clown
1 Chalk Bass
1 Large Engineer Goby
1 pistol shrimp
Misc hermits and snails

We have done our research. We wont be adding a sailfin tang to this tank;)

For coral..we have
2 torches
1 Frogspawn
2 hammers
1 toadstool
1 zoa colony
1 button polyp colony
1 duncan
GSP
1 red montipora
1 kenya tree

As of tomorrow we will are being shipped 3 birdsnest frags, a purple monti, and a hurricane chalice!! Really excited about that!

Ok!!! Pics!! Sorry for the long intro!! Lol

Ha thanks man!

Well, as of yesterday we bought some eagle eye zoas and those are looking sweet. Those are our first zoas and i think i've got the bug now:) we went in looking for a foxface though.

So I'm guessing you didn't find the fox face. Mine is doing well, isn't hiding when I approach the tank and fully colored up. He is working away hard on the algae. Zoas are nice coral, I have a few though one frag (lunar eclipse) fell down behind the rock somewhere and I never could find it. Let's see some pics!!!!!!

Thanks for comin' george!

Kd thats awesome!! Yeah..didnt find one..but we will! I really want one!

That's a nice colony of zoas, kudos boys. Hope you can find a fox face, very cool fish. What I did was call around before heading out, once I found one I asked the owner to hold it for me which he did.

Good idea actually..we usually just run aroud to all different stores because we love the stores haha. I want a foxface so badly now, definitly this weekend man:)

Yeah they do! Im really liking them. I added another rock in that area. I need more placements because that is going to be my "zoa" area. Now, i can buy several different zoa/polyp types of corals and stick them in that area. Hopefully, they will gtow and all
Morph into a beautiful landscape

Check out dragons breath zoas, very nice and not very expensive. You could probably find a hornet zoa for cheap now that they are slowing down in popularity.

Wow!!!!! I love both of those!! We are going to get a zoa pack after we buy our foxface!

Ok..bad news guys..the corals from lilies grandad didnt come today. That means delicate sps corals will have been in the mail for 3 days!! Uhoh..ok guys wish us luck

I think they will be okay. Just make sure to acclimate correctly. I honestly get nervous about the corals but they actually are pretty hardy. Ive seen some professionals frag things and they do it in a way that I'm scared of.. It's like they hate the thing and are tearing it away limb from limb.. Bottom line, these things are hardy and you got some of the hardier ones. Just be careful with bleached bases/tips.
