GBT gone without a trace?

I got a roughly 10" GBT a few months back. He seemed to be doing fine once adjusted to the tank. He went into hiding for about the first week but seemed fine after that. He would come out into the open for a few days and then hide for a day or 2. He moved around a lot! Then about 2-3 weeks ago he vanished. I haven't seen a single trace of his existence. I've constantly checked the water perams. for signs of death and nothing has changed. Anyone else had something like this happen?

Maybe he squeezed himself into a small cave or something?

You'll know know one way or another. A 10" will leave a nice mark in a 75G tank, if thats the tank it was in. Either that or it will show back up, or has moved to the other side of the rock work. I had a GBTA that refused to stay on the "front" of the tank.

Yes, he is in the 75G. Do you think he would really hide this long? Short of removing all rock, I've looked everywhere.

Did you check the over flow?

Checked the overflow, the sump, even under the tank stand.

he's hiding. bta's move often if they don't lie flow/lighting. maybe you have nowhere for him to get comfortable so he went into hibernation lol
