gbta and tr clown

i just picked up my first gbta yesterday acclimated it for a good 30 mins. I physically placed it where my clown fish likes to sleep...and now the sob sleeps somewhere else...my clown is a tr clwon but hopefull and eventually it will host...any ideas on how long it might take..
