GBTA....Anemone Log

Looks great Tmoriarty! If I could make on suggestion....ditch that background on the tank and go with some black poster board or even straight blue, but that fake background detracts so much from your fish and rockwork. BTA looks great though.

The background was the wifes idea and since she runs the tank finance division its what the tank got, lol. The new tank I just got has black acrylic on the back so there wont be any fake backgrounds in it. Also to anyone wondering the blue/yellow tangs that are to small for a 55g when fully grown will be moving to there new 205g tank once im finished with the build in a few months.

lol I was totally faked out and thought it was part of the tank... I was looking at the toadstools and all of the other stuff, and thought what a healthy looking tank he had... Of course I just took a quick glance at it... ;)

My wife requires a pair of clowns per tank... No matter how much they bite me... :( I understand the compromises one must make in order to keep the spouse supportive of the hobby/obsession we love... :D

Lol got ya. Those women sure can be tiny fearsum things! I am happy that your new tank has black acrylic on the back though :)

Yah, the background has grown on me.... although when I put it on the first time with tape it got bubbles and looked horrible. I had to pull my full tank away from the wall.... which I did my self, that was fun, and put the background back on. Second time I used crisco..... worked incredible. Like I said I didn't want it but it looks ok with the little coral I have, Once there is more coral you wont see the background anyways. The new tank has a black acrylic back sheet.... so no chance to make it not black even if i wanted to :P.

Just also found out that for the next two months Im working 20 hours overtime a week...... extra money to feed my habit..... not upset at all :P.
