I have a GBTA and a RBTA, the green went to the back of the tank several weeks ago, hard to get to but see the tentacles, they are very small, i have seen it close and open back up, his foot is firmly attached to the rock, however he is not at all stciky and it appears (again hard to get to) that everytime i try and feed the food just falls out and floats away....any advise on how to feed it if it will not catch food??

My rose hangs out up front and hosts my onyx, it is a pig and catches food almost everyday, plus gets fed by my female clown. It is doing well. not sure why the GBTA does not seem to be doing well.

My first question is , are you feeding the anemones fish based foods such as silversides or depending on the clowns to "feed" them which they DO NOT DO.
Clowns take food the the anemones for storage to eat later, not to feed it.
You need to be feeding your anemones silversides to keep them healthy.
And if you notice short tenticles or color of them becoming white then you need to feed them.
What the clown takes to them is not food for the anemone but food for the clown and the anemone can not survive on that.
Post pictures of your anemone if you can so that we can see what condition it is in.

And the silversides have to be of marine origin, right?

I don't usually buy silversides at the fishstore, they aer ALOT cheaper if you can find them, or a similar fish at the asian grocery. In fact, I get some really tiny "whitefish" that the fish go crazy for, it's 2.99/lb or so. I pretty much always make frozen feed at home for the tanks. I do also feed frozen Formula 1 to my anemone since it is so easy, the Clarkii just grab the cube and take it straight to the anemone.

Yes i feed silversides, but like i said with the GBTA, he is not sticky so the food does not stick to himand just ends up floating away...cant get a picture as he is behind my rockwork.
