gbta not eating and moving in tank for 2 weeks

i have a gbta that i got and it is not eating and moving in my tank for 2 weeks i
try to feed it but it will not take food and it is not sticky like my rbta. any ideas?
my rbta are doing good. water and lights are ok 640watts of vho bulbs

I would say acclimation issues are the cause. I usually initially turn the powerheads off and gradually ramp them up over a week or two. For lighting, the most important part IMO, I put a few layers of paper towels on my top and take one layer off every few days. If you did something similar, who knows? Most of the time it ends up this way and all you can do is hope for the best.

Whatever you do, dont force it. Give it another week, try feeding SMALL bits. All else fails, point a small powerhead at him to coerce out of the cave.
 
paper towels? I would think that would block too much light, and you could still light-shock it removing the last one. Many use window screens.
 
Trying to feed it already is just stressing it out more...Concentrate more on getting correct flow around it & lighting acclimation. I wouldn't try feeding it until after it's attached itself in sand or to rockwork. Toddrexx has a good lighting acclimation thread on here. Good luck!
