GBTA not opening up all the way

I have a Green Bubble Tip Anemone that I have had for 5 months now and it just doesn't seem like it want's to open up all the way. The most it will open up is about half way. I see all these pictures of different Bubble Tip's and they are all fully extended and waving in the current when mine only seems like it has half of the tips out. It is currently hosting a mated pair of maroon and gold striped clownfish that really seem to love eachother. What could be the problem with it. It looks healthy and is getting fairly strong current to it with about 480watts of T5 lights. ????

mine is being difficult also, it seems to have decided it does not like the T5 lights after months in the aquarium, it looks best at night :(

"mated pair of maroon and gold striped clownfish"
is probably the problem, they are super hard on anemones, constantly rubbing on them and dashing in and out.
I had one pair of maroons many years ago and never again.
Try covering your anemone with a plastic collander for a few days I bet you a buck it will open fully once the clowns are away from it irritating it.
Let us know.
