GBTA split ...

I think mine is splitting right now. I just posted these pics and asked if I was indeed correct.

I am almost 100% positive it is splitting although I 've never witnessed it. I am glued to my tank watching it. Whatever it is is really cool looking.

Mine took over 2 years to split. Might have a long wait.

Stress! It can be a temp swing, bulb, chemistry, moved to a new tank, or something physically irritating it that can cause stress. They will typically position themselves between two rocks and stretch themselves, but not always. They can also split when they get very large, you have along ways to go for that. Another good sign is when they have been positioned in one spot for a long time, and then they decide to take a stroll.
 
thanks for that information. My GBTA is very large, I would try to post som pics soon. Thats why I think is going to split soon, but im not very shure
 
You have to have someplace to host it. A lot of people use photobucket.
 
Not splitting yet, that I can tell, but could be getting ready to. He sure is stretched out. How long has he been that way?


My largest nem split today, I came home to a broken heater, temp at 76! Yikes! I may have a 3 way split, can't tell yet. Clowns are super freaked!!!
