GBTA took the waterslide ....

one of my GBTA somehow got overtop of the overflow and took the waterslide ride to the basement sump. that was sunday ( found him in the morning ) and i have been keeping him down in my refugium since then. i just figured it would be easier to remove him if he decided to melt.

i took this pick last night and tried to give him a tiny piece of silverside. his color is still horrible ( light is only 27W ( 100W output ) compact florescent ) but he has moved around and attached to some LR and the side. physically he has gone through some strange inflation and deflation rituals, first long and thin then short and fat.

my concern is that the light in the fuge isn't helping and he hasn't eaten in a week. he wasn't interested in the silverside and didn't try to grab it and it wouldn't 'stick' to him. im wondering if i should move him back to the tank or wait? if i put him in the tank and he takes off into the LR, i could be i trouble.

you can't really tell in the pic. but he is a redish purply color.

Was it injured? To me it doesn't appear to be injured, and looks like it still has one heck of a fighting chance. If it were me, I would put it back in the tank.

i put him back in shortly after my first post and he seem to be ok. unbelievably i found his twin ( clone ) half in the tank and half in the overflow this afternoon. they have been going in where the return pipe passes through the over flow ( like 1/2" or less ).
