They told me all they had were LTA's at Aquaworld.

I just got back from wet pets with my GTBA. Let's see how he does.

Thanks for all the tips.

Next on the list RBTA.........keep your eyes open.

I was at elmers tonight..they got a Rose bubble tip in that really small 6g cube next to those display tanks..its really small though..probably 2-3" in size

i just went out and got a blue tip lta from aqua world its huge its about 9 inches across when fully exspanded really good coloring for the blue tiped and its not a dull white its a pure white really good lookin im looken for a rbta to a decent sized one for new tank im my house also

and Elmers only wants $300 for it too.:eek1:

matt,

Be careful with keeping any anemone in too new of a tank. It should be set up for at least 6 months.

Kevin

mines been setup for about 4 my other tank was just moved here for a fam mamber like 1 week ago but was up for a 1 year it looks happy its set its foot it moved were it liked over night i fed him when i get it home it ate it took the food to it mouth when it was done eating its mouth closed and tenticals back out exstended i will post a pic later of it

I agree with Kevin...and must encourage some patience. Even if the rock was established before, I'd take it slow. You're adding a lot fast, and it would be a shame to see you lose it all at once...

Is that what they really want or just throwing a # out there...I wouldnt be surprised if they ask like $120 for it

matt - I think I have posted on a couple of your threads but you don't want to listen - patience, patience, patience. At the rate you are adding stuff with a new tank, its inevitably going to crash. I know its fun to add stuff, but you will learn in this hobby patience is a virtue

i know what your saying now im relizeing it with the livestock i dont wanna shock my system i here ya when it comes to adding coral should i go slow or is it ok to add a couple a month

First off, sorry to have hijacked your post BIGGUN.

Secondly, from everything I have read BIGMATT, it seems you have added A LOT in the last few weeks. I would take a break from adding anything for a few weeks, including coral. Let your system settle down, check your parameters daily to make sure everything is fine, and keep up with your weekly water changes.

If you must add something to your tank, coral is less likely to cause the tank to crash than fish or inverts.

ok i will cut back its hard when i go in to aqua world and see you know so many things that i can do to the tank i will cut back from fish and inverts i might only add one coral and ive been checking my water is zeros acrossed the bored my calcium is finaly starting to get to good leavles (useing 2 part but i want to switch over to the pickling lime ) i only do water change 1 and half times a month i do 20 gallons and then a samll 5 gallon change so im goin to listin this time and chill out with my buying and let everything settle you guys know way more then i do and all your tanks are sucsesfull so ill take in what you are all saying and relax with the spending

HAHAHA I just called elmers..and they literally want $300 for that Rose nem..that is just down right STUPID. I wonrder if any sap is dumb enough to pay that much...Max I would have thought $120

it looks like a typical rose bubble tip..and its only about the size of your palm maybe smaller..I just dont see how they can price it like that
