I have had my GBTA since March and it has'nt stopped moving since. it looks healthy,is eating. The rock I have in my tank are not smooth, not really sure what kind of rock it is so my ?"s are the rocks the reason the GBTA is moving so much,is it looking for a smooth place to plant itself? I have adjusted the the flow, moved the heads so the water is'nt flowing anywhere the nem is.

I don't think it is the rocks. Mine used to be on some pretty rough looking rocks.

What type of lights do you have, and what is the flow.

Also ( just to cover all the bases ) what are your water parameters -- with numbers.

........stop messing with the flow..its moving because its not happy with something is my guess....it could move somewhere it likes then you adjust the flow so then it moves to find more flow....

what kind of lights are u using?

i dont think its neccessary wanting a smooth spot my nem attached to the side of a rock larger very bumpy rock.

I have a total of 260w,48000k of daylight and 260w of actinic. (4 65w daylight,12000k and 4 65w actinic compact) mag 1150(low,but I am supplementing)ca 500,nits 0,phos 0,kh 9,ph 8.6. Flow is pretty low,heads are pointed toward the glass instead of the rock.

not sure how to post pics.

Short term, you can email it to me and I can post it for you.

Long term --- either upload it from your PC to the RC gallery, or use photobucket.

Once you decide which route you want to go will be able to walk you through it.

i don't think its the rock. The more you mess with the flow the longer it will take for it to "settle in". i would just let it go until it finds a place. rock shape or type should have nothing to do with it.
