Gem tang

Fedex had two teams and a private carrier service standing by on Saturday but they couldn't locate the package... Amazing they found it and more amazing the Joculator is alive!

I know!!! That's nuts!!! I would be so mad. I wonder if FedEx would own up to it if the fish was dead? A $2k fish ain't pennies...

Yes I think the plan was to deliver to you Dmorty once they found it on Saturday via courier...but alas, nobody could find it....not sure how it made it to Virginia or when......

The manager I spoke to on Saturday was pretty sketchy on accepting responsbility....

agree--85 hours in the box, w/85+ degrees in the DC corridor over last few days.

the Joc will be forever know as the "miracle"

Yes, I even offered to drive to the hub in Indianapolis just to try and save the fish. Extremely happy it arrived alive to you today! That's a hardy Joc!

Good luck , guy in my club bought one off DD. It didn't make it . CUC ate it and DD were fantastic to deal with. Cool fish, best of luck. I don't have the stones

Most are not prepared to take care of a fish that is 1-3/8" and I personally will pass on any fish under 2" because of this. They need to be fed like anthias, not once or twice a day. Typically are picky and have tiny mouths and that makes most food too large to be consumed.
