A guy in our reef club has one in his 1700 gallon reef. It is an amazing fish!

definately a beautiful fish, but i couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of money on something that may be sick or even die within a month. oh but how nice it is to fantasize about having one

a $3000 fish would have eat aptaisia, bubble ,hair and cyno and poop calcium and acros for me to buy it

Amen, and I dont even feel funny. I feel the same way about the black tangs, if they weren't rare and expensive nobody would even want one. Give me a purple, powder blue or brown, achilles, naso, kole, heck, I think just about any tang is better looking than either one of those. I'll be keeping that 3 grand I guess. I wonder if collectors get mad when houseguests are ohhhhing and ahhhhing over a blue damsel instead of the 3 thousand dollar fish.
