Gemmatum Tang Arrived

Here is a preview of my Gem Tang that arrived to my Lfs. It's midnight here and I have come to see their acclimation of all their fish.

It's beautiful.... but wow. I'm glad you're doing well enough to afford a $2400 fish. As for the rest of us poor schlugs out here... lol I'll have to stick to my $50 yellows and $75 powder blues.

I've heard from other reefers who have this same fish that it's very hardy, which is surprising considering the price. Good luck with the fish.

That one is stressed out, that's not what it will look like once established.

Hate to say it, but $2400 for that fish is a deal. Diver's Den sells them for $3499.

+1 that is a deal if i had it i would def. do it. One of the nicest fish ive seen congrats...Let us know how he gets along with the blk tang, ive heard they are aggressive.

Here are a few photos of my gem the day after i put her in the tang.

A little bit of chariot charging and tail wagging going on with my yellow. but nothing as extreme as what the purple would be like.

how big is your tank that you have a black yellow and now the gem?

The Gem is still getting used to the tank is is shy. But once she is swimming around freely i will get more shots up.

Better quality ones too.

Nice fish, but 2400 is crazy why are they so expensive? we don't get stuff like that at stores here in Kansas City
