Gen-X Calcium reactor media - appox 10lbs

I just order 6 boxes of Gen-X Calcium reactor media - appox 10lbs
The media looks totally different than the picture on you site.
(I bought some from you before, and it looked the same as the picture)

This time, it is a mixture of dead coral skeletons and pepper stone-liked.
I am wondering if it’s still as good and the previous one.
Can you tell me what the pepper stone-liked is?

Hi,

They did indeed change the media about a year ago, maybe a little less. I have been using the newer style now with absolutely no problems at all. Unfortunately I can't give you the exact makeup of it, as I do not know, but I have not experienced any odd algae blooms in any of the systems that it's running on, or any increased PO4, etc.
