Gen-X PCX 40 pump (how loud?)

Im looking at getting one of these pumps but it will be close to my bedroom and dont want it to be really loud. Anyone with these pumps how loud are they? Can anyone compare it to a submersible mag drive pump?

They are loud. I wouldn't use one in an application that noise was a concern.

I have my sump in the basement and I can hear the pump upstairs. It's anything but quiet.

Would a reeflo tarpon pump be a lot quieter than the Gen-X?

Gen X is a great pump, but too loud for anything but a basement sump. JMO I think the posiedon pumps are great, but create a lot of heat.
