General Q's about Zoas...

I have a fairly new (2 month old) nano reef and I've just recieved an order from Zomania containing some Tub's blues, Baby girls and Hunter's grail zoas. Personally, I think i'm addicted to these little guys and want more! Anyhow, I have a standard 10 gal. tank with live rock, a spray bar aggitating the surface and a powerhead aimed accross the tank (corner to corner) about half way down. My lighting is from a Coralife 96 watt 50/50 PC and my questions are as follows:
Where is the best place in the tank to place each of these little guys for optimum lighting? And the same question, but for optimum current. I currently have them on the sand at the front of the tank with a slight current. I've noticed that the Hunter's grail have opened nicely and the Baby girls have opened up a little less than than the Hunter's, but the Tub's have only opened up very little from when I got them out of the bag.
I will appreciate any information that can be passed along. I hope to take care of these little guys as best as I can.

Thanks

Hey there,

I have a 12g nano with 48w 50/50 PC, so my setup is simular. I find that each zoa type kinda has its own preferences. I consider the PCs in my tank to be pretty 'low light', but you'd be suprized. In a nano, there isn't much room, and some zoas just don't like to be up near the light.

I'd stick the tubs blues as low and shaded as you can get them for now, I find the blues really like shade. I've received numerous frags from the same vendor and they've all done wonderful, it just takes a little time to figure out where they are happiest and for them to adjust.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I'll get the blues in some shade when I get home tonight. Last night, before going to bed, I moved the Hunters up higher on the rockwork and they were doing great this morning.

Thanks again.
