Yes, however you will tend to get what you pay for. Off the shelf laptop power supplies of 50W 24V will tend to run as much or more if they are of comparable quality. While they can be had as low as $20, these will generally omit heavier duty heat sinks and shielding and may instead use vent slots or fans which are a bad idea around a saltwater tank. The last time I checked Radio Shack, Fry's and Altex, something comparable was $49-$72, they were in the general ball park if they were reasonably safe and well made.
