The power supply on my 2 year old XR15W Pro Gen3 light failed the other day. I spoke with Ecotech and since it was well out of warranty they wanted $75 for a replacement, which seemed a bit steep to me.
The original power supply was rated at 24V and 2.25A and I was able to find a power supply on Amazon that could provide 2.5A at 24V for only $15.
I got it in today and its working great. I figured there was a chance I might need to do some minor surgery to replace the plug that connected to the light, but the plug on the new power supply fit perfectly, so it's just plug and play and only 20% of the cost of the original.
I'm not sure how common these power supply failures are, but I figured I'd post here so someone might be able to save a bit of money if it happens to them.
