Geo 612 Recirculation Pump

I picked up a used calcium reactor which was missing the recirculation pump. Its one of their earlier models where they didn't use the PH port in the lid(have the port in the lid now). What I am wondering is if I can use an eheim 1046 pump for the recirculation pump instead of the 1048. I do believe the earlier models also came with a Mag Drive pump. Does anyone know what mag drive pump they use to use? Any thoughts comments or suggestions on a pump I can use would be greatly appreciated. Ideally if I can use the pump I have laying around it would be perfect but not sure if I need more flow than what the eheim 1046 has.

I would give GEO a call George. You can get the number at Poor Boy Aquatics. He is the one that made it and im sure he will have no problem helping you out.

Mine is the newer one and it had the 1048. It went out and I didn't have an LFS with replacement parts, so for the last 6 months I have been running the mag 3 and I have no complaints.
