Geometric Pygmy Hawk Questions

I was wondering how many people had them in tanks of 50+ gallons, and how often they see this fish. I just put one in my 72 (lots of places to hide), and I am wondering if after time he will become more bold and let me see him more often. (If he stays shy I will have a fun time looking for him  )

Mine is in a 110. I see him often, but he is not really out in the open. It took him about 3-4 months to get real comfortable. My favorite fish, period.

Will these guys get along with a flame hawk? Also, will they attack smaller, more passive fish?

Even though the geometric pygmy hawkfish is really an anthias, I would not do it because of similar body shapes, and the flame gets bigger. I would also worry about the flame hawk attacking the guy.

Geometric pygmy hawkfish only get to about 2 inches, so there are not many smaller fish. Some of the ones would be things like sharknose gobies and clown gobies, and I dont see the hawk attacking them except maybe for territory but in a larger tank I would not think it would be an issue. Then again, I am not 100% sure. Edit: oops, I didn't see that Rothie had already answered it :)

c.dawg-I'm only relating my experience-not giving a definitive answer. Many of my experiences with fish and corals are very different from other members.I often see posts that give answers as though things can only be "this way" ,or to find out the answer was just just given by copying from another member or another message board as though the poster had personal experience.I always look for posts with known personal experience when I am considering adding a fish or coral to determine what I might expect and which of my tanks the addition will go.
My Geometric pygmy hawk lives in a cave with a blood shrimp(Lysmata debelius)and at night they are joined by a scarlet cleaner(Lysmata amboinensis),which is very different from what others have posted, but obviously not all of these fish will eat cleaner shrimp. They have lived peacefully this way since June 2005.

here is mine before he disappeared. was my favourite fish and now i need to get another.
