you are skimming the dust out of the tanks

I had a little "accident" last time I was over there so he may be skimming a little more than dust.:D

Don't tell him though. Shhhhh........

Hook up a drain line from the cup to your main sewer line via PVC and just sit back and relax and watch the nog go down the drain by itself. Priceless!

You'll HAVE to write it down, than right down where you wrote it down to remember where you put it. :)

Write WHAT down?

:D

It is pretty impressive to say the least! I figured with new saltwater and the black residue from the sand being an oily paint-type material that the skimmer wouldn't do anything for a few days. The foam head will probably vary a bit while the water matures.

Alright you old Geezer!!

I have several comments, but maybe it is best if I keep them to meself.

So I guess all I can say is WOW. Nice to see salt water at your place again.

dave how is noise level with everything running now, and do you have a drainline on that monster of a skimmer.

The noise is moderate...the Dart NW makes a fair amount of noise. With the doors and cabinets closed, things are pretty quiet in the den.
