Rescued a small colony of German Blue from a LFS for $9. It was completely brown. The color is starting to come back after about eight weeks and growth is very good.
My question is last week I broke a small three branched frag off doing some cleaning. Mounted it to a homemade plug and after a couple of days a hermit or snail knocked it into a cave and it was without direct light for a couple of days. Finally removed it last night and halfway through the photo period today polyps are fully extended and the color is better than the mother colony.
What happened in the shade.
