German tanks...BB or SB ?

Roger, being that the German tanks are beautiful and seem to be a step ahead of us here on they're equipment, what would you say most tanks over there have on the bottom : BB ?, DSB ?, or a light covering of sand ? thanx for youre input.

most german tanks have a light covering of sand, just enough to cover the glass,

In general I agree but it also isn't much different from here in that regard, their are hobbiests trying all the different methods, DSB's seem to have taken off a lof later their and they are just starting to be adopted by some hobbyists. The main things I have noted is you see a lot of tanks with coarser sand (gravel) than we would use, especially older tanks of soft corals. You also notice that snails are virtually absent, most tanks have a handful of trochus or turbos but no where near the number of snails we keep.
