Well, my RBTA was encroaching upon my lil' colony of birdsnest, and I wanted to discourage the anemone from going towards the birdsnest. I pointed a MJ1200 directly at it and then put a thin piece of live rock over the anemone. I thought that this would discourage it from moving towards the birds nest and cause it to retreat to an area with less flow and more light.
Apparently I was wrong, because I woke up the next day to find 2 anemones in the spot where there was only 1 the previous day.
Personally, I think that a piece of Tonga Branch would be perfect for causing this result. I think I'm gonna try this again in a month or so, once these anemones get a little bigger.
