It's wierd, because my daughters mom and I were not even very good friends...but her loss has made me reshift some of my attention to my family. There are some family goals that I have not gotten done, and now I really want to get those done first. I guess I have realized that life can be that short... My Tank is awesome (to me) but I know that over the coming time it will get neglected, and I would never want that. Armondo, Rogger, many of you guys have taught me a lot about reefing and I will not leave completely, I guess I just need a leave of abcense (sp?) Thats why I will still keep the nanos and as much coral as possible. I love reefing...So when I do come back (God willing) it will be larger and better!!!

Wow Mel I'm so sorry to hear this man. Actually I feel really bad for your girl dude because for us with kids you don't like to see your child hurt in any way shape or form cause it makes us as parents feel just as bad. Cojelo suave men, and whenever you upgrade those Nano's back to a 65 or larger hit me up and I'll plumb up the CL for ya.

OK...corals will be moved out this weekend to thier holding tank (Armando's tank) shortly after that the 65g will be broken down.

Here's how it stands...

1. Tank and tall stand...$140
w/ Canopy....$180 (under construction)
2. 150 Octopus skimmer mesh modded....$140 (few months old)
3. Phosban w/ MJ 400....sold
4. Vantec Stealth 80mm fans.....hold
5. Lights (250w MH SE...Moguls, 660 Icecap Ballast, two bulbs x 4 months old , and two bulbs 2-3 month old (all 14k)......$300 for both or $165 ea.
6. Two free 5g jugs for water
7. Mics stuff like heaters, powerheads..etc, I'll list and price later.
8. LR (Approx 70-80lbs)..... $3 a pound.
9. Free Live Sand
10. Mag 9.5....$50
11. Shark Magnet w/ scrapper....sold
12. Long arm gripper...$20
13. AquaC Remora Protein Skimmer with Drain Fitting, Maxi-Jet 1200 Pump, and surface skimmer box....$100

Thats about all I could think of at this time.
I am setting up two 12g Nano Cubes, so I am open to trades for stuff I put/use in them. Also open to some coral trades...
I will be back, next year > with a new home will come the new tank!!! Bigger (possibly) but definately better!!!!
 
Yeah Lou....why?
One is for my mother in law that wants her own saltwater tank.
and the other I got cause my wife would not let me get out completely, so I will put one in the bedroom for her to enjoy.
Thats how I plan on keeping my favorite corals...the rest will be sold, traded, whatever...

Lou.....Dam, I wish we had talked earlier.
How much you want for it? I know a guys looking to upgrade from a pico. Which one is it? Nanocube 12g reg or DX? Any Mods?

Serkel.....a trade would be fine but I need to breakdown the tank
so the pump would not be available for probably another week or two.
 
No problem Mel, no biggy. It's the DX model, but I upgraded the lights anyways with a kit from Nano tuners, it also has a new surface skimmer. Don't know what I really asking for it, don't really use it.

Also if no one has spoken for the free Live Sand I'm interested and can take it.

Hey Mel, Hope all is well? is all the sand spoken for? i need about 5 lbs or so? i may also be interested in the long arm gripper, how long is it? Thanks
 
I am very interested in LR 70lbs and the Live Sand if you still have it. New to the hobby and setting up right now.

Also what model Octopus 150 skimmer is that. Is it the recirculating 150, Needle Wheel 150?
