Sorry praying to the power gods right now

Anybody else loose electricity? Nice quick storm we had there....

I know Gath2 did, he stopped by to get some stuff last night and said he was out of power. I usually lose power for awhile in storms like this but I got lucky this time. If it does go out I just run an extension cord out to the Metrolink tracks and grab all the power I need (j.K)

We lost power for about 4 hours or so. Had the battery powered air pump going for a while.

I lost power for 5 hours. The scary part was Ameren said power would not be back up and running till 5 pm today. So I got really lucky. Hope every one else is up and running and doing well.

Got lucky!

Power went off for about 1 minute then came back on. When it came back on we heard a VERY loud hum. Looked into the back yard and on the other side of the fence was a live wire jumping around and every time it hit the ground it made the noise. It eventually burned itself off far enough that it stopped shorting out and the noise went away. Our house was the last on the line to have juice.
