Get Your Cars In..baseball Hail Ashland City

Well... I have no where to get my car into, so I guess it's good that MY car isn't at home right now. My girlfriend on the other hand will be thrilled to come home (she's gone for the weekend) to find hundreds of dents in her 2 week old car...:mad2:

I heard from Jenn that it took out City Hall in G'lettsville and the Kmart in G'lettsville. That's a bit too close to home... I also heard reports of cars being flung around from I-65... I'm anxiously waiting for some of it to pass so I can get home to make sure everything is alright. On the north side (G'lettsville), you've got me, Casey, and Chris S. I hope all is well...
 
That's definitely a baseball size... I hoped you were kidding. I don't know anything about Tornados except that they seem to be touching down everywhere. I'm stuck in Nashville (where it still isn't even raining) until at least 5:45 because I have to give a talk. Like Gary I'm forced to wait around for the time being. Fortunately, my g/f and I are both safe... as far as my her car and possibly our house and fish tank... we'll just have to see in a couple hours. Keep your heads down...
 
It did some damage to centenial medical in ashland city man. No deaths, but just to give you an idea of where it went through.
 
They're showing a live picture of a tornado in Cheatham county somewhere right now. It is on CH 2.
 
Well, my house made it through unscathed. I didn't even loose power. Casey called and said someone in his neightborhood said it passed ~100 yards from his house (Casey's).

Talked to coralreefing and his house if okay, too. He heard it would be a month to get power back out to that neck of the woods, though... Traffic is really bad on this end of town. Roads are shut down all over...
 
I hope everyone is ok. Sure was crazy today. Nothing like sitting at a window watching a hail storm hit your car dealerships. It wasn't at all as bad in Cool Springs as it seems Goodlettsville got it. They look like they got smacked hard. Take care everyone. Confirmed 10 dead :(
 
I live just inside the Ashland City limits coming from Nashville on Rt. 12. We must not have gotten the hail that danieljames got (judging from the lack of dents in the cars...maybe just smaller hail?) and we didn't even lose power either. Just lucky I guess... and I wish you all the same.
 
I was in Murfreesboro and was running ahead of the storm. I stopped to get a picture and got caught in the hail. It took out my windshield. Then after I got home a tornado passed withing a half mile of our house. My wife and I watched it and thought it was going to hit us but it went to the North. We were close enough we could see the "birds" circling. We found out that was debris picked up by the funnel.
