getting anemone to split

I've been told by feeding every other day [over feeding] you can get anemones to split.rbta's. any body try this?

feed it everyday for a few weeks, and do large water changes.

I am able to induce splitting by feeding mine a silverside (Cut up to appropriate size, of course) once on Sunday and once on Wed. wc on Saturday. Usually takes 3 - 4 weeks, maybe more, but if its a 'splitter', that should do it.
