getting black perc. to eat

Im having trouble feeding my male. The female eats like a pig but the male is only eat small pieces. I was feed them mysis too.

Males normally eat less than females. My male perc only eats small pieces of food too. He spits out anything too big to fit into his mouth. Try feeding them a more varied diet with some algae in it too.

The male clowns I have are always big pigs. The female gets super angry when he eats her food. Quite funny to watch and a little sad at the same time.

lol is it wise to buy a blue carpet for my clowns? I think my clowns would love it but i am afraid my other fish wont.
