After ~6 months I've finally got my 125 gallon reef tank close to fully stocked in terms of fish.
Now, its time to start spending money on corals!
I've got a couple small ~2" frags of SPS (monti cap, acro, damicornis), a frogspawn with about 5 heads, some candy cane, a pagoda cup, and a derasa clam. Everything is doing pretty well so far, and I've recently started dosing kalkwasser to try and keep my alk, calc, and mag as steady as possible.
I'd like to start significantly ramping up my SPS collection. Thinking about getting a 10-frag pack or so from either an online vendor or someone here in the for sale forum.
My main question, is I only have my DT and a QT, and the QT doesn't have strong enough light or flow to really be used as a frag tank.
Would it be better to get these frags and then just mount them to the rocks and move them around as needed, or should I get a frag rack in my DT, put the frags there to let them get adjusted and start growing a bit, and them attach them to the rock work?
