Hello all,

I'm in need of your assistance!

I have a 20 gallon long tank that I would like to make into a nano reef tank. I would love to do a fuge with a 10 gallon take I have laying around. I don't really like the overflow boxes but would like to get it drilled and have it look similar to this:

but I can't find anyone in the Oshkosh WI area that is willing to touch the tank. . . . they all think it will break!

Does anyone know of someone that could drill a 1.25" whole in my tank in the wisconsin area??

Also does anyone know of a place online I could get some 3" or 4" clear abs pipe?? I looked a menards, lowes, home depot, fleet farm. . . no one has any clear pipe.

Thanks for all your input and help!!

Check in the club forums here for a local club. There's one in Appleton and one in Madison (I think). That's your best source for local referrals.

Or you could do it yourself. I bought my 2" diamond bit off ebay for under $20. I have drilled many tanks with it.

Thank you for the kind welcome!

I decided to purchase a 35mm drill bit off of ebay for 13 dollars (including shipping) like icu2 suggestedlink

I have another question though, where is the "best" place to drill the hole? I was thinking towards the top of the tank about 3 inches down from the top lip.

Let me know what you think
