Getting my LTA to stay put

Well its been about 4 days and my new LTA still hasent settled down. What can I do to make it stay put. Can I super glue the base to a rock? (thinking out loud here). I very healthy but is constantly moving. My tank has all kinds of spots for it to settle down high flow, low flow, any suggestions? How long does it take to settle.

What lighting is it under?

DONT superglue its foot, it will burn the foot. and wont stick.

Anemones like med flow.

Anemones can and will move, there is no guarantee that an anemone will stay put. Usually they will settle down when they find a comfortable lighted spot. You can also try feeding the anemone and that can sometimes coax them into staying put a little bit.
Like walmart said, do not glue their foot.
As for the timing it takes for it to settle, there is no answer to that. My two anemones (RBTA and BTA) have found their spot and rarely deviate from it. But that is not guaranteed, I have my coral pretty far away from the nems just in case they do decide to wander.

Your nitrates should be 0 .Do some water changes to bring it down to 0. An LTA likes very little water movement while burrying its foot. If you have a deep sand bed and the sand is fine to med fine grade. Dig a hole in the sand and place the LTA there. Once it burys its foot, feed it and then you can then give it a medium low current. It should stay in that place as long as its not being blasted by power heads or bothered by other corals. Mine has stayed in the same spot ever since I added it to the tank Oct 5th. I hope your lta settles in soon:) good luck.

Yeah the nitrate a little high but those are hard to get down I have pig for fish and its heavly stocked.

If you don't have a deep sand bed of fine sand, you can get a six inch pvc pipe and fill it with fine aragonite, place the LTA in the pipe and fill it with sand. You can put live rock around the pvc to hide it from view.

Make sure your power heads are off at night if your LTA is unstable. If not, it may find your power heads.
