Well, its finally arrived. I have had a sunburst anthias on order for a few months now, and the guy has been waiting until a supplier that he knows and trusts had them, and they are in. He has kept it for 2 weeks to make sure that it is healthy and eating, and he called me on tuesday and told me I could pick him up saturday at 530. i have to drive an hour and a half, but for a nice healthy fish, and the last addition to the tank, Im down. When I get him Ill post some pics, and let you all know how it turned out. Ive gotten really good reviews about this person, so I have high hopes.:lolspin:

Congrats on a fun Saturday!

Sunbursts are some of my favorite anthias, they are not the normal super active fish that most species of anthias are.

thats what I really like about them. They kind of just chill out, a little like me haha. I think that they have some of the best colors of the anthias as well, understated but very striking.

Well, its in and happy. I had an issue with my resident occelaris, who is a real meanie and was straight attacking the little guy. took a nice bite out of her perfect little fin. I moved her to the sump for a week and put her back in after moving some rocks around and buying more so that there is more caves and the territories got broken up and they are fast friends. Tough to get a good picture with my point and shoot, as she moves around a lot and is still skitish with the camera but she joins the crowd at feeding time and is pretty active in the tank, almost always in the open. I highly recomend these little guys to anyone interested, they have great color and nice personality.
