Getting my new LTA to stay put!

How can I get my LTA to stay put in the sand bed? He is very sticky and healthy, but every time I place him somewhere on the sand, or in a dug out area, the current will just slowly. but surely, move him to the left of the tank.

How deep is your sandbed, and how big is the anemone?

Is your sig right for the tank size and all that you have in there?

My sand bed is approximately 1.5-2 inches deep. The anemone is about four inches in diameter (oral disc). And yes, the sig is up to date. My LFS just had a "going out of business" sale, and everything is 75% off. I am getting a Solana tank tomorrow for $100 cash, so the clowns and whichever nem they choose will be in that tank. Here is a vid of the clowns and the nems. I think the unidentified nem is a haddoni, but I am probably wrong. It has a beige red hue to it and has a blue spot on the tip of each tentacle.

Sorry, but I was in the middle of cleaning the tank when my dad cm in and told me to start studying for tomorrow's final. :D Anyway. I got the pair for $50 before the declaration of the 75% sale, so instead of paying $25 for the pair, I paid $50. At least I was able to only pay $15 for both nems and the Red Kelp (which I hope my tang will devour).

your sand bed probably isnt deep enough. just let it wander/float around until it finds a place it likes. My LTA ended up choosing a rock crevice. Watch/cover your powerheads while until it is firmly planted.

My powerheads and filter intakes are all covered. Don't want another milky tank of death...if you know what I mean. What I noticed, is that in the store, it was attached to the glass. It has a red bottom disc, until it is ready to attach itself to something, then it is beige. It has verrucae though. So either it is a Magnificent anemone (highly doubt it), or it is an LTA. It is just cruising around the sand bed. It probably goes around the tank in about 4 hours. Does it every night. Should I get a cup or a PVC pipe with an end cap on it, and fill it with sand so that I can put it near the top of the tank?

If it hasn't attach to anything in a day or 2... maybe change your flow. it's gonna move until it finds a place with the Current and lighting it likes. No need to bother with the cup thingy.. it's still gonna move if it doesn't like it.
