Getting out of hobby, everything must go!

hey scott sorry to hear about fox incodence hope your hand feels better heard that it can be pretty painful awaiting to hear from you when ya get a moment

Last Effort to sell fish before I look at alternatives...

Fish ready to be caught and sold:

Long Spine Puffer - now $25
Magestic FoxFace - now $20
Coral Beauty Angel - on hold DynamiteDJ till Wens. 9/5/07 (Unless I hear back from you)

I still have the other fish from the 120 gal tank, but I still have all the rock in that tank till this weekend sometime when my rock buyer is coming to get all the rock.

As soon as the rock is out of there I'll be able to catch them out for sale.

If I don't get any interest in these fish shortly I'm going to look into trading them to LFS's for dog or bird food...

Got your PM dynamitedj, see you soon.

I've still not had any interest in the Puffer or the Majestic Foxface, if your interested in them please let me know soon, otherwise I'm looking to make a deal with one of the LFS's...

I'd also like to take a moment to thank eveyone who's stopped by and those who have purchased something. I hope that everything is doing well in your tanks, and my hope is that one day many of the corals will make themselves shown at some SEASL frag swaps for the entire community to enjoy!!

As soon as I get some of the fish gone I'll start putting up the "dry goods" and the tanks themselves that are left over.

I'll have a 75gal with oak stand and hood, and a 120 gal tank with oak stand (painted black).

I also have a FREE tank stand that will work for any 48" tank (75gal or 110gal). I got it free from somone else a couple years ago, and so It's only fitting to offer it up free again. The only catch is that this one doesn't come with delivery, if you need me to drive it over to your place with the pickup truck, then you'll need to offer me some gas money ;) (please no farther than 50 or so mile radius of the North County Area, I just can't take off and drive all over the midwest for a free item)

I've talked it over with my wife, and have agreed to reduce the prices on all the fish provided they are going to good homes.

Sale pending on Magestic Foxface

Long Spine Puffer is now free to a GOOD HOME ( your agree to hand feed him krill ) Keep in mind this is fish that will get BIG, should probably not go into small tanks (I'm thinking a 55 or 75 gal would be about the minimum size tank).

Here's a "dry good" that I can go ahead and sell now since the corals are gone:

Tunze 6000 Stream pumps x 2 and a 7095 Tunze controller

There is a kit online for this exact setup that retails for $881.21, I'm selling this "kit" for $400 (two 6000 stream pumps and the 7095 controller and all the cables that go with)

If you don't want the whole kit, I'll do $150 each for the stream 6000 pumps and $100 for the 7095 controller.

Send your PM quick, I'm sure these won't last long...

EDIT: Buyer will get my 5 min "training course" on how to program the controller :)

Thanks! The Coral Beauty is looking happy (albiet a little shy) and is still alive this morning.

P.S. That little puffer is really cool. He's got a lot of personality.

I wish the puffer and magestic foxface was reef safe, I would take them then, hope they find good homes. Do you have any other reef safe fish left?

FoxFace fish I belive are considered to be "reef safe" by the "experts" (I'm going off of internet information I can find here). The only thing with foxface is that they have venom in their spines, and I learned the hard way.

I have a magestic foxface and I have never seen him go after any of my corals. Rabbit fish or Foxfaces are considered Reef safe.

The Tunze equipment is SOLD

LIVE - What's left...

Long Spine Puffer - Free to good home (he's hand fed trained, and takes krill from your fingers).

Magestic FoxFace - I've had some interest with this fish, but no firm "I'll buy it" offers, so he's still avalible - $20

FoxFace Lo - Again, some interetst but no firm "I'll take him" so he's still avalbile - $20

Both Foxface fish have been seen eating hair algea (back when that was a problem for me), and both now eat flake and pellet foods as well as frozen foods. These are fairly big fish (Magestic is 5-6" and the Lo is about 9") and do have venomous spines. However, if you handle them with a little respect, they won't outright "go after you". I'm asking that any buyer please bring a bucket for these fish, as a plastic bag just isn't going to cut it.

I also have the Manderian fish avalible $10 (male)

The rock buyer is coming to pickup the rest of the rock tonight, and I'm under orders to get these tanks unplugged by the end of the week.

Please contact me ASAP if your interested in any of the fish that are left.

I also have the following Dry Goods avalible for sale at this time:

Four Maxijet 1200's, modified for more flow by drilling holes in the baseplate and sawing off the output tube. When the pump is powered off and on (via a controller or timer) the flow changes directions. This modification easily doubled the flow of these pumps. I'm asking $5 each.

I also have:

Coralife Super Skimmer model 125 - $80
Rena Filstar XP2 canister filter - $30
Rena Filstar XP3 canister Filter - $60

I also still have a 24Gal JBJ Nano Cube, it's been modified with a Maxijet 1200 pump (replaced the junk pump it came with), and I've removed the hood that fell apart and replaced it with the Current USA light fixture. It's a 150watt MH bulb and also has blue and white LED moon lights.

The nano comes complete with sand, rock, pumps, lights, heaters (2), everything for $300 (there's even some small corals in there, GSP's and some button polyps).

Also avalible FREE - Wooden Tank Stand, 48" style (will fit a 75 or 110 gal tank). Painted in an off-white or cream color right now, but can easily be painted any color.

As soon as all the live stock is out of the tanks, I'll be draining them and cleaning them up a bit.

I hope to have the following up for sale shortly:

75 Gal All-Glass tank with Oak cabniet style stand and oak hood
48" coralife light strip with 2x 96watt PC's (~ 8 months on the bulbs)
Custom Acrylic sump for this tank with 3 chambers
Misc stuff like the heater, mag 9 return pump and siphon overlflow box.

120 Gal Perfecto Tank with black stand
LifeReef Dual slim-line Overflow box
Mag 12 return pump
LifeReef VS-24 Skimmer with Mag 9 pump
60" Hamilton "ReefStar" Lighting system (3x250watt DE MH's in 14k ~4 months on the bulbs) also has 2x96watt PC's ~12 months on the bulbs 1 burned out, all ballasts etc to run them
150watt MH pendant light in 10k ~10 months on the bulb
150 gal "Horse Tub"
50 Gal "horse tub" with 2 bulkhead fittings in the side

I haven't come up with the price list on all these things yet, because I can't quite sell them before I get all the fish and rocks gone. As soon as eveythign alive is gone, I'll drain them out and post the price list.
