Getting Out

Sorry to say that I'm having to say goodbye to reefing for now. Got some family stuff and money issues and just can't justify the reef costs at the present time.

So I've got a couple tank setups I'll be selling along with 150lbs of rock or so and some other random stuff, but first I gotta get the livestock clear. All fish are healthy and eating and have had them all for at least a year, some as long as three years. All are currently in a holding tank since the tank was fully set up and it would be impossible to get them out on demand.

- 2 Maroon Clown, pair. Got them fairly young about a year ago, female is about twice the size of the male and maybe 3.5-4 inches. They are a weird variant I think they called "gold dot" clowns. $40 for the pair.

- Male Melanurus Wrasse. Had this little guy for over 3 years, he's my favorite fish ever. Never had aggression issues with other wrasses, but he will murder inverts hermit-crab sized and smaller. $20

- Female Redline Wrasse. Had her about 2 years, lives peacefully with the Melanurus. $20

- Kole Tang. Had him about a year, eats literally everything I put in the tank. Not quite full sized. $30

- Purple Firefish. Had him about 2.5 years. $10

- Mithirax crab. I have no idea what he eats or what he does. I put him in the tank like 3 years ago and I have seen him twice. Doesn't seem to eat algae to any significant degree, but also never caught him going after corals or fish. Anyone who buys a fish can have this little **** for free.

The rock is in iffy shape because I haven't had time to keep proper care of it for a while. There's some hair algae on some pieces and vermetid snails on a lot of them. It's all turned up and around right now cause I pulled it all out to get the fish out, so there's a lot of white showing right now even though it's been in my tank for about 2 years. One of the rocks has two small Blastamussa Merletti colonies on it and some purple zoas. A small rock has two mussels on it.

With all those disclaimers, I gotta get rid of the rock too, so I'm selling it for $120 for the whole lot, which less than a dollar a pound. It's a good mix of large/medium and small piece. It is Reef Saver rock from reefcleaners.

When all the live stuff is gone, I'll clean up the equipment and be selling my 120 and 45 cube setups along with random nonsense I've gathered over the years.

Please PM me if you would consider selling the "One of the rocks has two small Blastamussa Merletti colonies on it and some purple zoas." separate from the rest of the rock. If so let me know the price.

I'm interested in the Specs and pricing on the 120 tank. I know the lifestock needs a home first. I'm looking for a tank in the 100-200 gallon range.

I tried to reply to your PM but I got the following message.
"Sorry, you can only send messages to the RC Moderator group until you have 10 posts."

That is a nice looking colony of blasto and zoas, but I was thinking closer to $10 considering you were only asking $120 for all of your rocks. Thanks anyway.

PMs replied. I'm on the East stuff near Superstition Springs, apologies for not updating my location. I moved recently and forgot to change it on here.
