Getting that color??

lugols solution is a diluted (with water) form of KI² potasiumiodide , so both potasium and iodine are dosed :)

greetingzz tntneon :)

^ Yep that is it. I am using Brightwell's Lugol's though not Kent, its all the same though. Almost time for a pic update, soon.

D-D H2Ocean, almost through my first 5 gallon bucket. Great salt, love it. I was using Reef Crystals but got a few back buckets.

Much better. Coloring back up, but I have a lot of greens coming out of not green sps. Working on getting the purples and blues to come back. I will get pics up later today, did not have time yesterday.

That's a good thing most likely. IME a lot of acros will actually turn green before they return to their regular colors.

From my experience, that is true that some of my corals go from brown to green before getting their natural color. My rose millepora was that way. It started out being brown. Then went through a short phase when it was green. Now is it a nice deep red color. My blue color corals are going through this same thing right now. I can see the bases are turning green. Hoping that the entire body will go blue soon afterward. Been struggling with blue colors so I started dosing lugol's solution after reading through this thread.

Ok updated pics.
