I finally got the top of the tank closed up with the access door. I tried many pictures, but between the light from the tank and what is reflecting in from the patio door, they weren't coming out too well. Turned the lights out and at least got an update.
Otherwise, have just been fighting the two guerilla crabs. Finally got the little one when it was under the glass we were using as a trap. I tried to net it, and instead stood the glass up right on top of it
Connie yanked the glass out and I got it in the net.
Otherwise, the huge one still avoids the trap. I had every hermit I own in the trap this morning, but not the monster. An hour ago I noticed the anemone was suddenly closed up. With a closer look, the crab was biting at it's base and the clown was attacking the crab. Then, all the fish seemed to take turns checking on the crab, or attacking it. The new gramma was all over it, but the crab got hold of its tail. Doesn't look like any damage, but was held for a bit. The crab moved to where I thought I might have a chance to grab it. What happened?
1. My new door fell and hit me in the head
2. The clown bit me (dumb fish, am just trying to remove what's pesting it)
3. While trying to get over the clown biting me (nothing new, but he got me better than usual) the CRAB pinched me.
4. I jumped and burned my arm on the lights.
Gave up and just left it to the trap for now
