I wondered if there was now a bacterial approach to removing phosphates.

All-In-One biopellets will lower phosphates (and nitrates). They now have an XL version that does not need to be tumbled, though I have not used them yet.

Carbon feeds the bacteria and causes the population to increase.. more bacteria = greater reduction of nitrates/phosphates..

But no there is no "magic potion"..
And biopellets are just another form of carbon dosing.. Frankly I don't know why anyone would run biopellets when liquid dosing is just easier/less equipment,etc...

If phosphates are your main issue then GFO is your solution.. still..
