GFO, Carbon, or Biopellets

GFO, Carbon, or Biopellets

Update on NP All-In-One Biopellets. So far I have experienced the claims with the elimination of my nitrates and phosphates. I haven't really added anything to the tank as I had spine surgery 7 weeks ago, but hopefully once I get a bit more flexibility I can start adding a few things.

Only complaint is the dust I constantly have in the glass.

And no pics??:jester:

Sounds as your surgery went well

Run the effluent through a filter sock. Had this happen too when I ran the single pass reactor. Switched to recirculating 2 years ago and have not had the problem since. Effluent drops straight over the skimmer intake. I also have not touched it in 2 years other than to downgrade the pump because I overcompensated with a HUGE mag drive thinking I would need the pressure to tumble them.
