Gfo/carbon reactor

Anyone running a gfo and carbon reactor together recommend something capable for a 300 gallon display, and a 150 sump?

In general any reactor specifically intended for that media could be used..
Exhaustion rate/media quantity is determined by the specific needs of each system and the specifics of the actual media itself.

One might expect that the larger the tank the more media that may be required to extend replacement/exhaustion times..

Quite a few seem to like the simplicity/low cost of this..

and many go all out and go with individual units/higher priced/fancy/pretty,etc..

I have the BRS Deluxe and highly recommend it. I run GFO and Carbon together often. My only concern would be the size but I think it would work fine.

GFO says about 1 cup for every 75-100 gallons. I enjoy the high quality connectors, etc. and have had no problems with mine.

P.S. I run them in a single canister because I've heard its hard to get the right flow going through two canisters with a single pump. You want the GFO to tumble.

For 450 gallons of water though - I would think you would def need separate canisters just to fit the amount of media you will need. It can get pricey but Im a believer!

Thanks for the advice.

I am running two 1200 gph pumps which are both plumbed into a central manifold for reactors.
I should have added that info.

So what you both are kinda saying is that I should run two separate reactors!
If I'm reading correctly?!
