Gha>>>b/w ha

Hi all.

My tank has been running about a month cycled. Saturday I added some chaeto (first time) to the fuge in hopes of reducing the growing GHA problem I had. Nitrates do not register, (API), so I am assuming that the GHA was sucking them all up, and hoped this would aid the issue. Yesterday I did about a 30% water change. Today I got home to find most of the GHA had turned brown or white. Does this mean it is dying? If so, does it vanish, or is manual removal needed? Thanks!

Ok, thanks.... Not the answer I wanted, but expected when I first posted. Appreciate it guys.

You certainly don't have to manually remove it..
It will/should disappear on its own given time/cuc eating it,etc....

I think maybe I will throw in a couple more hermits and a turbo snail or 2. They will probably do a better job of it than me anyway. Thank you!
