ghetto riged led.

I had a few power brite leds laying around that i never got around to using so over the weekend i decided to attach them to my t5 light above my zoa and paly tank. Its not really the prettiest way to rig them up but it worked. It made a huge difference in making the colors pop but the spread of the leds are not what i was expecting. There are a few dead spots where there is no light from the leds but overall its not too bad i guess.

Excellent!

I remember RandyO opening up the canopy and seeing like 20 power brites daisy chained together. I've always liked them.

An LFS in Florida had a 1000g DT lit by several huge metal halides but with 40+ blue power brites for actinic supplementation!

Yeah If I raised them I'm sure they would be perfect except I don't really have a way of hanging them unless I hang my entire fixture. Who knows though, I might just find another way to rig it so that I can hang it. They really are a pretty nice light if you have enough of them.

Those aren't ghetto rigged. That's your typical reef hobbyist setup!! haha. We all rig up everything(unless we are rolling in money...then in that case, someone else rigs it up for us...haha)
