Mike,

I have read your detailed announcement elsewhere where you give some explanation on the system. One thing not very clear to me, is this exactly the same as the original Bio-Calcium 3 part but simply re-branded, or is there a difference in Part C in the new product.

Also, if this three part is totally balanced, why is there a need to use Pro Coral A & K.

Thanks in advance.

Hi
yes its the same but branded so more people understand what it actually is ;)

It is balanced yes that does not mean it has all the trace elements, not all can be put into salt, some have to be in liquid form or separated to stop precipitation.

yes you can add A to the ALK and K to the Ca,

A may slightly precipitate over time so an occasional stir would be desired.

Hello,
I am the Director of US Operations for Tropic Marin USA. I wanted to clear something up that you were asking about the Balling Method. You are correct that the part C does include ALL 70 trace elements found in natural sea water. In fact Part C of the Balling Method includes EVERYTHING that is in sea salt except sodium chloride. However, it is also true that while you will be replacing some of the trace elements with that addition, if the tank is very heavily stocked, the natural sea water levels in the addition may not be enough to compensate for the heavy usage of the 17 trace elements found in Pro-Coral A and K. Therefore, if you tank is heavily stocked, it is still a good idea to use the A and K. If you have additional questions, or this is not clear, please don't hesitate to contact me directly or our office in Germany.

Hi

we will have all stock in the USA by mid march. the dosers of course are already available, its just getting the containers down to the USA and the other parts.

Please give me 14 days and all will be clear.
