GHL Doser 2 unable to connect

After trying to upgrade my firmware to version 102, I am now unable to connect to my Doser 2 via Wifi nor USB. I am able to ping the IP that had been working with my Doser 2 and the IP address shows up on my router as a current and active device and I can ping the associated IP address. But whenever I try to connect via USB, the GHL Control Center just hangs.

I've tried posting this request on AquariumComputer support website, but their website won't let me post anything! Very frustrated and looking for any options.

Were you not successful with preforming a Firmware update?

Is the GHL status logo illuminated?


As of today.. GHL Control Center was updated to 1.0.6.4, Doser 2 Firmware 1.05 (Improvements for Communication and several optimizations. myGHL)
 
the Firmware update "appeared" to succeed complete with the message to power down, wait a few minutes that then power the unit back up. After powering back up, the GHL logo first turned white and after a minute or so turned the usual blue.

I've also downloaded the new 1.0.6.4 version afterwards in hopes that would allow me to connect, but without any success or change in behavior. The entire GHL Control Center hangs and it totally unresponsive when I try to connect via USB. I have a 2nd Doser 2 that I have NOT tried to update the firmware and the GHL Control Center has no trouble connecting to the 2nd unit via wifi or USB.

Is there any way to force it into a 'firmware load' mode to attempt another firmware update attempt?
 
Well, after trying the USB connection from another computer, I am finally able to connect to both of my Doser 2's via USB. I'm suspecting some USB driver issue, although I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling the USB drivers on the problem PC, but no success.

BUT, I still can connect to one of my Doser 2's via wifi (the one currently running firmware 105). My router sees the Doser just fine and I can ping it. But the GHL Control Center can only connect to this doser via USB. I have no trouble connect via USB or wifi to my other Doser 2 (which is still running firmware 101).

So what gives? Did the latest update of GHL Control Center (1064) and firmware (105) really improve wifi connectivity? Not for me, I have no trouble under GCC 1059 and firmware 101.
 
Maybe another clue: When I connect via USB and try the "Search W-Lan..." option on the "Wlan/ Lan Settings" page (firmware 105), I get "No Wireless Networks Found". How can that be? Every other device in my house can see my wifi network and even my neighbors wifi networks.
 
Thanks, I will contact via email. And I am finally able to post on the aquariumcomputer forum. I think we should make some effort to allow people to download the USB-connection guide WITHOUT having to wait the obligatory 24hr period from registering on their forum website. I understand the need to avoid spam on the forums, but maybe we can find a solution to at least VIEW some critical documents?

Hi. Just got my Doser 2. It will NOT connect to PC via USB. Anyone know what needs to be done make it connect? I am stumped!
