I've asked around and gotten about 15 different answers, so I figured I would ask here and get another 10 :)

I run my Mitras over a 60 gallon 2x2x2 cube. I'm trying to settle on an intensity. It is 12" off the water and I am currently running it in 'High Output' mode at %75 using Rodney's profile offset 2 hours later so I can view it better at night. Am I in the ballpark? Am I too hot? I am running a mixed reef. SPS at the top and Zoas and Acans on the bottom.

Thoughts? I really appreciate the help!

got to 80%

I run mine at 80% high efficiency

Thank you SO much for the quick response!

You can't ask for much better support for a product. Other than $, I simply cannot understand why someone would want to run anything but the Mitras!

I absolutely love this light!

Thanks again,

Don

Aqd, see you have the mp40 too.
If I get the mitra fixture and currently have two mp40w power heads. how easy is it to control the heads remotely?

if you have the GHL ProfiLux controller then you will be able to control all connected device remotely providing you have the wireless card in the controller to interface with the mitras and the GHL vortech controller.

Gotcha. Thanks. Is the programming easily done with the ghl controller?

the embedded software into the profilux for the mitras does not come out until next month in line with the launch of the wireless card, however yes it is very straightforward, its menu driven so no need for crazy algorithms etc ;)

Ok. So next month is big. Prob wait until then.

Thought I would share these photos from a new dealer setting up!

They chose Mitras for all their coral vats, but not just few, oh no! as the photos show, a mass of them! Not specifically required to do the job, but the owners wanted extreme forward flexibility in their systems.

Enjoy!

HOW DID THEY MOUNT THOSE!
I am still looking for a good way to mount my Mitras to the 80/20 frame I am building.
If anyone has any suggestions I am in a real bind and need to get them hung fast.
I am currently balancing them on drinking glasses over my tank after my ATI unit pulled out of the drywall ceiling!

[Dear Arron,

could you help me with levels in my tank. I have 6 mitras 6200hv on my 6 foot tank but my clams never come out of their shell.
