GHL Mitras Club

Tomn drop a note to Anim8me2 and get with him. He has a whole library of projects and I would imagine he probably has more than you'd ever need/want. Ian is a wealth of information and a great resource for our community.

On a side note.. WELCOME to the world of Mitras :) We're glad you decided to rebuild and look forward to seeing your tank come together :)

Thanks bigal. I just looked at the link that anim8me2 posted above. I'm going to look at those projects along with mshur and go from there.

No problem, mike.
I hope it works for you.
As I mentioned to Michael, recently, next to good lighting and proper stable parameters, I think tonnes of food and great nutrient export are also key to good sps colour.. But I'm sure you are aware of this...

Matt,
100% agree with you , ive been following this route for years accept i was using 400wRadiums:)
my colors was great at that time. hopefully i will get them same colors:0)

Al, there is only two programs in there for the 6200 mate, there are none for the 6100

That's if you are talking about www.profiluxowners.com

Good catch Gazz... I'm not sure if I was looking at the wrong link or if I merely imagined more projects but fact of the matter is you're 100% correct.

My apology for mis-stating the facts up there.

I just got this going today and love the light! I am just running the default program right now - no livestock yet.
LOVE IT

Hi guys. I just uploaded Matt's more blue LC project to my Mitras. It's definitely a lot bluer than the default program. Its been one day and my corals seem okay so far. I've been having trouble with my elegance coral so im hoping this program will make it feel more at home or deeper in the water... I ve set the max output to 40% so hopefully nothing gets bleached. I hope to turn this back up when I'm confident the corals are stable.

Curious to hear everyone's acclimation strategy with their mitras. What output % do you introduce new corals at? whats your strategy to dial the output back up - time, % increase? I take mine down to 50% then add 10% per week.. I'm not sure if this is an aggressive or conservative approach???
