GHL Mitras Club

Thank you, understand that it is more blue
But a picture is worth a thousand words
I would like to see a tank with 6100 and then the same tank with 6200 to see the difference

I honestly think its too subtle to pick up on camera you also can tune a 6100 pretty close to a 6200 this is why the 6100 is not sold as stock model in North America.

Does anyone know what the updates were from 114 to 116?

Having a tough time getting my firmware update working and debating if it's worth it.

Also, is there a repository of top projects for this light?

Some of corals are browning out. My red hornets you can't see the inner ring. Could it be that I am running my lights too strong? My tank is 30x24x19 and I am running the light brightness at 80% 12 inches above the water.

If you have not had the lamps long corals will go through a transition phase you will find this with all LED makes types and sorts.

Also much depends on your chosen spectrum. More blue white opposed to other colours is good and a nice natural photo period.

I've had the tank and corals since January. I just don't know why but the colors of my corals aren't very bright. The nuclear greens look olive green, the orange bam bams are brown. I thought maybe it's because I am running too much blue and too little white?

Thanks for the quick response :D

If the tank is only 2 months old dont expect any colour for months, a coral system takes a year to fully mature and more. You cant rush nature, the nutrient levels have to balance long before you start even looking at tweaking lighting. Give it time, a lot of time ;)

Alright thank you :)

I'm making the change from halide, i love my halides, still skeptical on LEDs i researched these to death, final choice was the mitras or radions the mitras won

Is there something that shows the equivalent settings for High Efficiency vs. High Output?

For instance 80% High Efficiency = 60% High Output...

(those numbers are an example and I just pulled them out the closest orifice)
